Time marches on and our baby keeps on a-growin’! Tate turned 9 months on December 29th and is changing so much! Last month, he celebrated his first Christmas! He said what we deemed his first word 🙂 – “Hi!” and he’s chattering and babbling and being noisy as usual. He still loves wrestling with daddy, naked time, being tossed in the air, and eating (except when he doesn’t like what we’re feeding him, then he’ll wrinkle up his nose and make a sour face), listening to songs (his favorites are “Itsy Bitsy Spider” and “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star” and “Old MacDonald.”) We’ve started attending storytime at the Library and he loves looking at all the other babies. He’s becoming more and more mobile as he slithers and creeps and rolls around – and he’s also becoming more and more tenacious (as daddy calls him). He also learned to clap while playing with Papa on Christmas Eve! He knows the words for clap, wave bye-bye, and he knows who mama and dada are. It’s so fun to see him start to understand the world. Happy 9 months baby boy!
